Terms of service

The service

CodeReady provides independent educational practice materials. Questions are original study items, not actual licensing exam questions. We are not affiliated with licensing boards or the organizations that publish referenced codes and certifications. Study settings and scores are not official exam specifications or predictions.

Verify your jurisdiction’s code edition, amendments, exam bulletin, and eligibility requirements. Items marked “review” await editorial verification and must be checked against their cited source. Do not use this material as jobsite engineering, safety, or installation instructions.

Purchases and access

Prices are in US dollars: $39 for one currently available exam, $79 for all-access lifetime, or $19 per month for all-access while subscribed. “Lifetime” means the operating life of the CodeReady service, not the purchaser’s lifetime. All-access covers banks as they become available; coming-soon banks have no guaranteed release date and cannot be bought separately.

Access belongs to the email used at checkout. Use the same email to sign in. Do not share sign-in links or accounts, redistribute question banks, or resell access. You may use purchased material for your own study.

Subscriptions and refunds

The monthly subscription renews automatically at $19 each month until canceled. Cancel through “Manage subscription” on your dashboard before your next renewal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Contact support if billing management is unavailable or you have more than one subscription.

Contact support within 14 days of your initial purchase if you purchased the wrong exam, were charged twice, or cannot access the service. We will investigate and arrange correction or a refund where appropriate. This is not an unconditional satisfaction refund policy. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Approved refunds or payment disputes can revoke access at the next entitlement refresh; sessions can remain valid for up to seven days.

Pass guarantee: free retake prep

This is an access extension, not a guaranteed passing score or reimbursement of exam fees. If you do not pass the licensing exam matching your purchased bank, contact support within 60 days of the result. Provide your purchase email, exam name, exam date, and a redacted result showing that you did not pass. Do not send identification numbers or other unnecessary personal information.

For one verified unsuccessful attempt per purchased exam, we provide 90 days of access to that same exam without an additional prep charge. Single-exam and lifetime customers already retain access while the service operates. Monthly customers may receive same-exam retake access after their paid subscription period ends. Contact support to arrange it. This does not include additional exams, testing fees, transport, or a cash refund.

Browser progress

Progress is stored locally, not in a CodeReady database. Clearing browser data or changing devices can remove access to it. Use the dashboard export/import tools to maintain backups. We cannot restore data that was never sent to us.

Availability and acceptable use

We may maintain, correct, or update the service and content. Do not interfere with the service, automate abusive requests, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse payment and email features. We may restrict misuse. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or any particular exam result.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of fitness for a particular exam result, and CodeReady is not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of the study materials. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
